Java Agentic AI Software Engineer - Vice President - Software Engineering We’re seeking someone to join our FRPPE team as a Artificial Intelligence Lead, in in Finance Technology to architect and develop next-generation Java applications leveraging cloud, microservices, and modern frameworks, enabling digital transformation in financial systems. FINANCE Technology (FINTECH) provides innovative solutions for regulatory and financial reporting, general ledger, profit & loss calculations, securities bookkeeping, budgeting & forecasting, and tax filing. The group leverages a state-of-the-art multi-terabyte financial data warehouse as one of its main assets to service the Firm’s Finance division. In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Lead Software Engineer position at Vice President Level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintains software solutions that support business needs. What you’ll do in the role: The candidate will be working in a team working on Core MS Finance Tech applications built on AI/ML with Java (Scala) and or Python, leveraging Spring boot/Spark containers with Angular front ends. The candidate will also be working on very intensive business & data analysis out of our Finance Data Warehouse (FDW) built in Teradata/Snowflake. In working closely with the local/global project manager, colleagues, and internal clients within Finance, the candidate will be involved in all stages of the development life cycle from requirements gathering to post-release and ongoing Lv3 support as escalation point.
