The role is for a Senior full stack Java engineer with strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot–based REST microservices, SQL databases, and modern Angular frontend development. The ideal candidate is a quality driven developer with 100% unit test focus, BDD (Gherkin), CI/CD automation, AI assisted development experience, and strong ownership, communication, and mentorship skills. Requirements
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in Core Java, Spring Framework, databases (SQL, Snowflake, Oracle), and frontend development
- Strong hands-on expertise in building RESTful microservices using Spring Boot
- Strong hands-on experience in developing frontend applications using Angular
- Demonstrated commitment to achieving 100% unit test coverage for both backend services and frontend applications, with a strong quality-focused mindset
- Experience with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) using Gherkin syntax for feature files
- Proven experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with an automation-first approach
- Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Windsurf
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and work seamlessly across teams
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, take ownership of assigned deliverables, perform thorough code reviews, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- High level of accountability and commitment
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience with automation and performance testing tools, including Playwright and JMeter
- Experience using Zephyr Scale for test management and traceability
