About The Position

Akkodis is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer for a Contract with a client in New York, NY. Candidates must have strong expertise in Java backend technologies and modern front-end frameworks like Angular or React. Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
5+ years of experience in Java Full Stack development.
Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces with modern front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue, along with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) for data modeling and query optimization.
Ensure application security, performance, and scalability, following best practices and coding standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in code reviews and requirement discussions.
Manage deployments on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
