About The Position

The Java Full-Stack Developer position in Mclean, VA, requires a candidate with extensive experience in designing and developing applications using Java technologies. The role involves working with Java 8+/J2EE, Spring, Spring-Boot, RESTful Services, and UI frameworks such as Angular or React JS. The candidate will also be responsible for developing microservices and cloud-based solutions using AWS services. Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software development.
• 4+ years of experience in Design and Development of applications using Java 8+/J2EE, Spring, Spring-Boot, RESTful Services.
• 2+ years of experience in design and development of Microservices using Spring-Boot and REST API.
• 2+ years of experience in UI Framework - Angular / React JS.
• 1+ years of experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions in AWS Services (EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• Strong knowledge/experience in ORM Framework - JPA / Hibernate.
• Good knowledge and experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience in DevOps tool chain (Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven/Gradle, GIT/Bit Bucket).
• Good knowledge in technical concepts - Security, Transaction, Monitoring, Performance.
• Experience with OAuth implementation using Ping Identity.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash & Kibana.
• Good knowledge and experience in Queue based implementations.
• Good knowledge and experience in NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Experience with scripting languages using Unix, Python.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ASP.Net 4.0 and 5.0.
• Knowledge of C++ Programming.
• Familiarity with CSS 3, HTML 5, and JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL Server 2014 and PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of WCF and Web API.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using Java 8+/J2EE and Spring.
