About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer with experience in Spring Boot and Advanced Java to join our team. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model and contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of software engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
• 7-9 years of experience in software development required.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST, and NoSQL.
• Experience with Oracle or any other Relational DB.
• Experience with messaging - MQ/Kafka is preferred.
• Familiarity with Micro-Services Architecture, Scalable High Resiliency Systems, and Workflow is preferred.
• Experience with Angular (or React / JavaScript).
• Agile Development experience and familiarity with SDLC Tools like Maven, Jenkins, Git, etc.
• Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Understanding the business ask first before we kick off with design and development.
• Taking initiative and ownership of tasks, seeing them through completion, including analysis and testing.
• Following and adding to defined architecture, technology standards, and best practices for applications, middleware, and databases.
• Working with the team and architect to design, prototype, and deliver software solutions.
• Managing the technical environment (software, data, interfaces, integration) and researching new tools and technologies.
• Participating in code reviews and aiding in debugging while contributing directly to project deliverables.
