The position involves strategically architecting, designing, and developing industry-specific solutions to support core enterprise functions based on client requirements. The role includes managing and upgrading existing applications, articulating and developing a new Java-based API service, and designing migration strategies from existing APIs to new API designs. The candidate will translate client business requirements into technical solutions and provide guidance to senior developers on design and implementation. Responsibilities also include running design and development calls with offshore teams, owning the development of new API designs with databases, search engines, and third parties, defining integration scenarios, maintaining code repositories, and coordinating automated build deployments while defining implementation processes, quality gates, and standards.
