About The Position

We are seeking a Java Developer for a contract-to-hire position based in Chicago. This role is available for mid-level and senior developers. The primary language for this position is Java 17, and candidates should be familiar with frameworks such as Spring Boot and Spring Cloud. The role involves working with PostgreSQL databases, utilizing Apache Kafka for messaging, and employing containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with AWS as a cloud platform, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions, and testing frameworks including JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, and JMeter is essential. Monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack will also be part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java programming language.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud frameworks.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL database management.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka for messaging.
