The Insurance Sales position at JAT Compro in San Diego is an outside sales role focused on driving new business revenue growth for commercial clients. The role involves establishing new client relationships through various channels, including self-generated referrals and community engagement, while also cross-selling to existing clients.

  • Achieve new business sales goals on an annualized basis
  • Create positive synergy and pursue cross-selling opportunities with other practices to meet revenue growth targets
  • Generate sufficient new business leads and first appointment activity volume
  • Identify and overcome sales obstacles on a prospect-specific basis
  • Effectively communicate solutions to non-insurance buyers
  • Utilize CRM to support the sales process, including input of accurate and timely information
  • Develop and deploy sales/marketing strategies to optimize the company position in the marketplace
  • Work collaboratively with the account management team
  • 5+ years' experience in sales
  • Experience in verticals such as Construction, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Hospitality, or a Generalist book
  • History of financial success
  • Personable, initiative-taking, purposeful, and organized individual
  • Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organization and follow-up skills
  • Excellent listening skills with a strong customer focus
  • Good teamwork skills with the ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work with senior-level management and have a top-level executive presence
  • College degree preferred
  • P&C Insurance license required
