The position involves keeping buildings in a clean and orderly condition. Duties include cleaning floors, staircases, and elevators, as well as ensuring that common areas such as the pool area, fitness centers, recreational areas, and all other common areas of the community are maintained in a clean state. The role also requires maintaining the property, building elements, surrounding areas, and furnishings in a sanitary and orderly condition. Additionally, the individual is responsible for performing visual observations for janitorial needs on various building components and site amenities, and must immediately report any hazardous or life safety concerns to company management. The position requires the ability to use various cleansers and follow procedures for the use of chemical cleansers and janitorial equipment. Responding to janitorial requests and performing duties as per work orders or scope of work is also a key responsibility. The individual will assist coworkers as directed by management, read all technical data and MSDS information to maintain high-level safety on jobs, and follow the Safety Code of Conduct. The work performed must be clean, professional, and up to code, with effective communication of field observations and job statuses to management. Attendance at training and meetings as directed by management is also required, along with recording all time and expenses in ProTec Connect Daily.
