About The Position

UG2 is a facility service provider with the goal to be recognized as the preeminent provider of comprehensive integrated facility services and solutions to the world’s most discriminating clients. UG2 is looking for an experienced supervisor to lead a large team in the overall cleanliness of a large venue.  The supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and developing the overall operation of the housekeeping department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and guidelines, while assuring the highest degree of quality client care is always maintained. Responsible for staffing, scheduling, and training of staff. This position will report to the account manager. Must be flexible to work different shifts, weekends and holidays as needed. Shifts are consistent for the most part. Looking for a right-hand person for when Manager is not on premise.

Requirements

  • Previous experience managing a team of housekeeping employees.
  • The ability to anticipate needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitask.
  • Advanced knowledge of housekeeping processes and procedures.
  • Proven experience supervising housekeeping departments of 15+ employees.
  • Proven excellence in customer service.
  • Capable of using independent judgment/solid decision-making skills ability.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Demonstrated sound organizational, coordinating and personal interface skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish/ English
  • Two years of Environmental Services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily activities of the housekeeping department.
  • Planning, organizing and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of client and guest satisfaction.
  • Supervision of the housekeeping staff.
  • Maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory in conjunction with the account manager.
  • Schedule and train new housekeeping staff members.
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within housekeeping department.
  • Determine and maintain the department work schedule.
  • Ensures proper maintenance of all janitorial equipment.
  • Operating Machinery for projects
  • Covering schedule duties for absence team members or any other duties require.
