Key Responsibilities/Overview · The Supervisor oversees and supervises the entire Janitorial operation of the Veterans Affairs Health Care System in Knoxville, TN, ensuring that all items listed in the Performance Work Statement of the contract are fulfilled and performed to expectations. · When needed, cleans and keeps in an orderly condition assigned areas and washrooms, or premises of the VA facility. Duties may involve a combination of the following: Sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and polishing floors; removing chips, trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; providing supplies and minor maintenance services; and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms. · Assists with waxing/stripping floors on a quarterly basis. · Occasional travel from Knoxville, TN facility to Sevierville, TN facility (mileage paid). · Submit Monthly Status Reports detailing the Contractor's performance in the execution of tasks. · Submit a continuously updated list of employees and their hourly tours of duty. · Submits bi-weekly report of employee hours to Payroll Supervisor. · Create and maintain a daily work schedule for each janitorial employee in addition to any Janitorial Lead. · Notifies Accord Federal Management of any unsafe or hazardous conditions, incidents, or equipment problems. · Provides a written report of any incident involving Contractor personnel to Accord Management within 24 hours. · Contacts appropriate parties in the event of an emergency situation. · Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to janitorial services, including health and safety guidelines.
