Job Summary Directly Supports Janitorial Manager/Alternate Manager with Quality Control, Inventory and Janitorial personnel.

Requirements

3 years experience leadership experience - janitorial and grounds services
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with internal and external contacts at various levels. Good written and oral communications
Basic computer skills
Proficient in workplace safety measures
Knowledge of inventory management
Ability to organize materials, manage time, and prioritize tasks in order to complete projects on or before specified deadlines.
Effective organization skills with attention to detail.
Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where limited standardization exists. Solid decision-making skills.
Ability to perform with little or no supervision in a timely manner and with acceptable quality.
Ability to work flexible hours if needed, including evenings and weekends
Applicants will be subject to background check and drug screen
Frequent walking and standing.
Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling
Frequent handling of merchandise and equipment such as two-wheel dollies
Frequent and proper lifting of up to 50 pounds
Forklift, Scissor Lift - License with 3 years experience OSHA 1910.178 Training within the last 3 years
English (Required)

Responsibilities

Monitor staff hours and motivate staff to keep production rates high.
Work with staff schedule to ensure shifts are covered. Be On-Call to cover staff out should you be in the area and as last option if no one else is available.
Be Point of Contact for staff – Communicate with staff (check in) via phone to ensure contract requirements are met, request staff provide needs list; such as supplies needed, issues with equipment, reporting issued to clients, etc.
Complete the twice monthly recap to include: Number of staff members, hours per staff member, QC Reports, anomalies that caused delays, confirmation of periodic task completions, request for supplies, schedule up-coming tasks, request support from management team, etc.
Ensure staff is adhering to PPE requirements continuously throughout shift.
Train staff on process and re-train as needed
Support Project Manager with staff should he or she not be available
Identify issues and recommend procedures for improvement with process and staff
Assign periodic task to the team.
Twice Monthly walk through to ensure we have contract requirements/QC audits and deliver supplies
Floor Care services - Stripping and Waxing, Carpet Shampooing, Buffing floors, etc.
High Cleaning with use of Ladder or lift.
Assist in daily Cleaning
