The Janitorial Site Supervisor leads and coordinates janitorial operations at assigned facilities. This position ensures buildings are cleaned according to contract specifications, safety standards, and company policies. Responsibilities include supervising staff, assigning work, training new employees, maintaining equipment and supplies, inspecting completed work, communicating with customers regarding service quality, and performing cleaning tasks when needed. Directly supervise hourly general cleaners assigned to the worksite Executes and assigns daily work schedules, cleaning zones, and project tasks Train new employees on cleaning procedures, chemicals, equipment use, PPE, and site protocols Reinforce safety expectations and ensure compliance with OSHA, company procedures, and customer guidelines Inspect completed work regularly for compliance with company cleaning standards and site scope Maintain cleaning checklists and inspection logs Follow up with employees when deficiencies are observed Coordinate and oversee specialized cleaning projects (floor care, carpet extraction, window cleaning, etc.) Communicate professionally with management, staff, clients, facility contacts, and contractors regarding cleaning needs, concerns, or scheduling. Assist the Operations/Account Manager in resolving concerns or complaints quickly Maintain inventory and request cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment repairs Ensure proper storage, dilution, and labeling of cleaning chemicals Complete required paperwork, logs, and reporting in a timely manner
