About The Position

The Specialty Services Technician performs client-requested specialty cleaning services, including general cleaning, disinfecting, floor care, pressure washing, and other tasks needed to maintain assigned sites. This role requires frequent travel and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

Pass drug test & background check
Valid driver’s license with clean 5-year record
Ability to travel locally/long distance
Previous cleaning experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently
Knowledge of: cleaning/disinfection, pressure washing, floor care (strip/wax/buff), PPE use, and chemical handling (including dilution & dwell times)
Ability to obtain/maintain certifications
Possible on-call duties

Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect offices, restrooms, lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairways, and common areas
Replenish supplies; empty trash and transport waste
Sweep, mop, vacuum, strip, wax, and refinish floors
Clean carpets, rugs, furniture, draperies, walls, ceilings, vents, woodwork, windows, blinds, and fixtures
Perform outdoor pressure washing of structures, walkways, and grounds
Disinfect high-touch points (e.g., doorknobs, switches, faucets, elevator buttons)
Operate cleaning equipment (vacuums, extractors, buffers, scrubbers, wet vacs, etc.)
Complete occasional pathogen remediation
Understand proper PPE use, disinfection tools, and chemical application instructions
Communicate professionally with team members and clients
Participate in ongoing training as industry standards evolve
Perform other duties as assigned
