About The Position

Marsden South has an immediate opening for a Bilingual Janitorial Supervisor! Join an essential company to service the buildings and facilities in your community. Learn new, practical skills and gain experience with on-the-job training. Locations: St. Pete - Clearwater - Largo - Pinellas County Shift: Monday to Friday 4:30 to 1:30am these hours may be subject to change depending on operational needs Wage: 18.00/hr.

Requirements

Must be able to lift 35-50 lbs.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) required
Must be able to start training immediately.
18 years of age or older
A pre-employment criminal background check is required
Previous Lead/Supervisor experience in Janitorial Role a must
A valid drivers license and a good driving record is required

Responsibilities

Able to perform the duties of supervised staff
Completes regular quality inspections of assigned client
Ensures all associates are properly trained at each assigned account with a focus on long term retention.
Builds a culture of work safety and leads by example with one's own safe behavior
Treats co-workers with respect and approaches conflict with positive intent and professionalism
Asks questions to understand why we do what we do and how we do it - champions change when improvements can be made
Must have a coaching mindset and be a champion of your team
Collaborative style with strong influencing skills
Previous experience of cleaning procedures and practices
Good time management
Proficient written and verbal English communication
Strong employee and client focus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Experienced with stocking and replenishing Supplies
Requires following safety policies and procedures at all times (such as locking doors, using proper chemicals and reporting incidents).
