About The Position
Join The Budd Group as a Janitorial Operations Manager in Greensboro, NC Are you a self-motivated leader who thrives on autonomy? We are looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to lead our Greensboro portfolio. This isn't a desk job—it's an opportunity to "own" your business, manage your own schedule, and drive growth across 25–30 diverse commercial sites. The Role at a Glance You will oversee a large, diverse portfolio within a one-hour radius of Greensboro, managing roughly 20–30 employees and 2 supervisors. Your mission is simple: maintain high standards, keep customers happy, and manage the financial health of your accounts.
Requirements
- Experience: 2–5 years of supervisory experience or a 4-year degree. Janitorial or service industry experience is a must.
- Leadership: A strong "self-starter" who can delegate effectively and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Location: Must live close to the Greensboro, NC area.
- Flexibility: This is not a strict M-F, 9-to-5. You manage your schedule based on the needs of the customers and your team.
- Health & Safety: Due to the nature of our diverse accounts (including medical facilities), candidates must provide proof of FLU, HEPB, and COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Mobility: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Communication: Strong skills for customer-facing walkthroughs and reporting.

- Medical cleaning experience and RBSM certification are major pluses.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Interview, hire, and train new staff. You’ll lead by example, sometimes working side-by-side with teams to ensure quality.
- Customer Relations: Conduct site inspections and provide monthly reports to ensure excellence.
- Operational Excellence: Manage payroll, budgets (RFA), and supply ordering.
- Safety & Compliance: Oversee site-specific safety training and ensure all medical facility standards are met.
