About The Position

The Janitorial Manager will provide critical support to the SplashDown Beach janitorial department while working alongside all other department leadership team members. This position will be responsible for overseeing the overall park cleanliness and appearance prior, during, and after park hours throughout the season.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred
• Custodial experience preferred
• Minor leadership experience required
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
• Personal drive, action-oriented, quick learner
• Ability to thrive in a busy, fast- paced team environment as well as work independently
• Exceptional organization, attention to detail and strong ability to follow-up
• Must possess excellent communication skills, multi-tasking, planning and problem solving skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Keep a flexible schedule and be prepared to work weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Oversee a staff of approximately 45 seasonal employees during park operations.
• Utilize paperwork including daily positions sheets, inventory check-lists, schedules, product information manuals, and cleaning inspection sheets.
• Oversees the daily park cleanliness and completes routine hourly inspections of all restroom and public areas.
• Oversees staff rotations throughout the operation as well as the mid-day shift transition for all zones within the department.
• Responds to all guests’ needs and complaints in a kind professional manner while providing outstanding customer service.
• Assists with maintaining proper inventory levels of cleaning tools, products, supplies, equipment, employee uniforms and providing management with a weekly ordering needs list.
• Ensures all toilets, urinals, sinks and drains are functioning properly as well as all supply closets are clean and organized.
• Works closely with the Park Management team to ensure clear communication to maintain a clean, safe friendly environment for all staff and guests.
