Stop managing tasks and start leading people - your management career starts here What You’ll Do As a Janitorial Manager in Training: Phase 1: Mastery of Craft Perform and perfect all janitorial tasks (floor care, sanitization, dusting, waste removal) to understand the standard you will eventually enforce. Operate and maintain industrial equipment like buffers, scrubbers, and extractors. Phase 2: Supervisory Support Assist in training new hires on safety protocols and cleaning techniques. Conduct "White Glove" inspections to ensure quality control across multiple sites. Manage inventory levels and coordinate the delivery of supplies to various accounts. Phase 3: Operational Leadership Help develop staff schedules and manage labor hours to stay within budget. Act as a point of contact for client requests and emergency "on-call" needs. Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and chemical handling (SDS) procedures. A "Professional Coach" mindset—you love seeing others succeed.
