Make a difference as a JANITORIAL MAINTENANCE WORKER As a new Janitorial Maintenance Worker at Cumberland County Guidance Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a blend of cleaning and maintenance tasks. You can expect to start your shift promptly at 10:00 AM and work until 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. During this time, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and offices, ensuring a welcoming environment for staff and clients. Additionally, you'll handle basic maintenance tasks, such as changing lightbulbs and performing minor repairs. Restocking supplies and reporting any maintenance issues will also be part of your routine. With an emphasis on problem-solving and customer-centricity, you'll be actively contributing to the smooth operation of our facility and ensuring a positive atmosphere throughout the day. You'll also need expertise in maintaining various surfaces, including tile floors and walls. Experience operating both riding and manual lawn mowers will be advantageous in ensuring our outdoor spaces are pristine. A valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean five-year driving record is required, as it qualifies you for insurance coverage. Furthermore, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds will be necessary as you handle various equipment and perform maintenance tasks effectively.
