A day in the life: Under general direction, the Janitorial Floor Tech will be responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and restoration of all carpeted and hard surface floors throughout the facility. This role requires expertise in using specialized floor care equipment, applying industry best practices, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. What you'll do as an Exceptional Team Member Perform all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department.

Requirements

Minimum of (1) year commercial related experience
Strong communication skills
Must be willing to work assigned hours

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors: tile, carpet, and brick flooring
Complete work assignments in a timely manner.
Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
Use and maintain equipment properly.
Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely
Observe safety precautions at all times, uses safety signs “wet floor”
Ability to work without normal supervision
Reports safety hazards as appropriate
