About The Position
Pritchard industries is seeking reliable On-Call janitors to provide custodial support on an as-needed basis. this role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly school environment during staff absences, events, or emergency situations.
Requirements
- Ability to respond on short notice, including evenings and weekends
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Prior custodial experience preferred but will train.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand for extended periods, and perform routine custodial tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces)
- Clean and restock restrooms
- Respond to urgent cleaning needs (spills, leaks, or unsanitary conditions)
- assist with event setup and breakdown (table, chairs, etc.)
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns
- Ensure doors and assigned areas are properly secured
