Location: 6480 28th Ave. - Hudsonville, Michigan 49426 Job Description: Position Summary: This role is responsible to ensure common areas of the store are clean and serviceable for Customers/Associates.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Good verbal communication skills: ability to interact politely and effectively with customers.
- Good customer service and organizational skills; detail oriented.
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Dust shelves and fixtures, clean windows, sweep/vacuum as needed
- Assist in bottle room machine maintenance, empty full bins, return bins
- Clean bathrooms daily; sweep and mop floors, sanitize sinks and toilets, refill paper toiletries
- Sanitize shopping carts
- Maintain cleanliness of cart return area and return left behind items back to the shelves
- Sweep sidewalks free of clutter, trash and debris; ice/snow removal required during colder temperatures as needed
- Utilize brooms, mop, floor scrubber, dusters and general store cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Empty trash cans, inside and outside as needed.
- Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines
- Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations
- Follow Guest Experience Guidelines
- May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
