About The Position

The Janitorial Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of park buildings, food service areas, restrooms, and midways. This role ensures a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and team members by performing routine custodial duties, minor maintenance tasks, and supporting overall facility operations.

Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive motions.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
Promote and practice safe work habits at all times.
Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Comply with all company, local, state, and federal safety regulations.
High school diploma or GED (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience (preferred).
Customer service experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

Perform custodial duties while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
Clean and sanitize restrooms using proper chemicals, equipment, and procedures.
Sweep, mop (wet and dry), wax, and maintain floors in buildings and food service areas.
Vacuum and maintain carpeting.
Wash windows, furniture, and other fixtures.
Remove trash, paper, and debris from buildings and park grounds.
Mop and maintain food locations to ensure sanitary conditions.
Move furniture; set up, fold, and store tables and chairs as needed.
Lock and unlock doors; monitor building and ground security.
Activate and deactivate alarm systems as required.
Load and unload delivery trucks when needed.
Maintain positive and professional interactions with guests, vendors, clients, and employees.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
