The Area Manager is directly responsible for managing our client book of business. The Area Manager is responsible for ensuring that vendors meet or exceed our contractual obligations to our customers by providing quality janitorial services. The Area Manager guides the communications between janitorial services vendors and our janitorial customers. Region Supported: Southeast Region - Northern Florida, Southern Georgia, Southern Alabama

Requirements

  • Must have a reliable vehicle with car insurance.
  • Mustpossessa clean driving record with a valid U.S. Driver’s License
  • Must be self-motivated with a strong ability to prioritize andaccomplishmultiple tasks, projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability tomaintainhigh-quality interpersonal relationships.
  • Must be able to negotiate and collaborate with vendors at manydifferent levels.
  • Some experience withand knowledge of cleaningprocesses and equipment.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Familiarity with the hiring process

  • Must be willing to work weekends and be flexible with their schedule
  • Must be accessible to our customers, after hours, weekends, holidays and in emergency situations

  • General ability with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • High School Diploma orequivalent;required.
  • Minimum 3 years management and supervisory experience in related field, preferably account management

Responsibilities

  • Conducts quality control visits to ensure ourcustomer’sneeds are met.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact and a functional bridge between vendors and the customer.
  • Communicates company initiatives, procedures, anddirectionto the vendorin a timely manner.
  • Ensuresthat the vendors have a clear understanding of the customer requirements and expectations.
  • Ensures work standards arein accordance withcustomer requirements.
  • Manages chemical and equipment inventory.
  • Responsible for hiring, training,negotiatingand developing vendor partners.
  • Prioritizes work responsibilitiesso as togiveappropriate attentionto all work areas in the assigned geographical area.
  • Communicates regularly with upper management to ensure operational continuity, track performance, and resolve any larger issues.
  • Responds quickly to any client orvendorcomplaints,requestsand issues, documenting the issue and following up to resolution.
  • Manages the scheduling of services based on customerrequirements,within specified periods.
  • Manages special project work as requested.
  • Other tasks, as assigned
