Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Obtain authorization from the Company to drive company bus/vehicles
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license (TX preferred) and acceptable motor vehicle report
  • Meet state or provincial health related requirements
  • Maintain any certifications as required by state or provincial regulations
  • Desire to work with older adults and their families
  • Projects a positive and professional image at all times

Responsibilities

  • Clean resident suites according to schedule, including but not limited to: vacuuming carpets; spot-cleaning carpets as necessary; cleaning ceilings and walls as necessary (e.g., removing cobwebs); dusting furniture, shelves, light fixtures, and other surfaces; cleaning bathroom, including shower stall, sink, toilet, counter, and floor; cleaning kitchenette, including sink, counter, refrigerator, and floor; defrosting refrigerator as necessary; removing trash; removing and laundering bed linens and towels; replacing bed linens and towels; and cleaning windows as necessary
  • Assist in Annual Suite Service of resident suites according to schedule.
  • Clean community common areas to schedule, including but not limited to: vacuuming carpets; spot-cleaning carpets as necessary; mopping floors; cleaning ceilings and walls as necessary (e.g. removing cobwebs); dusting furniture, shelves, light fixtures, and other surfaces; cleaning restrooms including sinks, toilets, counters, and floors; removing trash; and cleaning windows as necessary
  • Deep clean community common areas according to schedule
  • Effectively collaborate with team members to improve resident and family experience
  • Attend and participate in onboarding and annual training, in-services and team member meetings as requested
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Property Services Director
  • Safely operate the community bus on assigned routes and according to scheduled activities
  • Transport residents and passengers to and from scheduled destinations in a timely and courteous manner
  • Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation
  • Promptly report any maintenance issues or safety concerns related to the vehicle to the Property Service Director
  • Ensure the interior of the bus and other vehicles remain clean, organized, and well-maintained
  • Maintain accurate transportation logs, route documentation, and incident reports as required
  • Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal transportation regulations and community policies
