SCOPE: Clean and maintain all public and back-of-house areas throughout the airport terminals and facilities. Remove trash, vacuum, mop, disinfect surfaces, and replenish supplies to provide a tidy, sanitary, and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Cleaning chemicals and disposable supplies.
- Floor buffers, carpet extractors, vacuums.
- Signage stands, wet floor signs.
- Carts, ladders, and other cleaning equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior cleaning experience desired.
- Constant walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent climbing, kneeling, squatting.
- Withstand exposure to cleaning agents.
- Comprehend product labels, safety signs.
- Communicate status updates and requests to team.
- Ability to pass Federal Fingerprint Background Check - the Federal Fingerprint Background Check is not limited to 7 years but checks your entire lifetime. Felonies will not be cleared.
- Ability to pass a 10 Panel Drug Test - The Full Panel Drug Test DOES include testing for THC. SAA is a drug free workplace.
- Favorable Moving Violation Report (MVR) - The Moving Violation Report Check is checking for a DL suspension, several moving violations, DUIs, etc. to your current employer until you are confirmed clear.
Responsibilities
- Empty trash cans and replace liners in all areas.
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
- Clean and disinfect restroom surfaces and fixtures.
- Wash windows, walls, counters, fountains, and other fixtures.
- Mop, sweep, and scrub hard surface floors.
- Dust furniture, displays, and equipment.
- Replenish paper products, soap, etc.
- Identify and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Support cleaning for spills, events, construction.
- Assist facilities team with inventory and inspections.
- Provide information assistance to travelers.
