Specialist in performing tasks in the housekeeping and cleaning of the maintenance area and other designated areas in the plant along with any miscellaneous duties as assigned by the department manager or any member of leadership. Maintain housekeeping and 5S to standards set by management. Follow all WestRock Core Values and Behaviors. Additional job duties as assigned by department manager.

Requirements

• Must wear PPE while on the job, including safety glasses, steel toe shoes, and hearing protection.
• Compliance with all workplace rules, policies, and procedures, including SQF and safety.
• Ability to perform essential functions such as walking around the facility, housekeeping, lifting/carrying items, and climbing stairs.
• Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer.

Responsibilities

• Support the BUG Specialist in housekeeping and cleaning of the maintenance area and other designated areas.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S to standards set by management.
• Follow all WestRock Core Values and Behaviors.
• Perform routine daily activities related to waste disposal and housekeeping.
• Assist B.U.G. Specialist with the organization of maintenance area, housekeeping and cleaning assigned areas.
• Assist B.U.G. Specialist with day-to-day activities of any building, utilities, and grounds issues.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by department manager and other members of leadership.
• Be conscious of all safety issues/concerns.
