The pay rate or range for this position is: $18.00. A technical cleaner job requirements, duties, and responsibilities are to ensure that the manufacturing facility is kept cleaned. This is a labor-intensive position requiring cleaning work and working under hazardous conditions, using personal protection equipment such as Tyvek suits, fall protection, safety glasses and a respirator.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• 6 months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired.
• Knowledge of basic janitorial duties and responsibilities.
• Good listening and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to speak/understand English may be required.

Responsibilities

• Keep the manufacturing facility cleaned.
• Maintain a neat appearance and uniform at some worksites.
• Attend periodic training and safety meetings.
• Empty waste baskets and replace liners as needed.
• Dust/clean tops of office furniture, cleared desks, and surfaces of tables.
• Vacuum all carpeting and spot clean soiled areas on carpets as needed.
• Clean glass on lobby door.
• Sweep and mop floors in non-carpeted areas.
• Wipe/clean all table tops and chairs in lunchroom/break areas.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals in restrooms.
• Periodically clean overhead vents, dust blinds, and polish wood furniture.
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas.
• Scrub, wax, and polish floors using industrial scrubbing and buffing machines.
• Remove stains from surfaces using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• Perform incidental seasonal tasks such as sweeping walkways and cutting grass.
