About The Position

Armtec Defense Technologies (Armtec) is an operating unit of the Transdigm Group (NYSE: TDG), an industry leader in aerospace and defense products and services. Armtec is comprised of three business units producing subcomponents for ordnance in Coachella, CA; decoy countermeasure flares in Camden AR; and radar countermeasure chaff in Lillington NC. This position is staffed in Coachella, at Armtec's world-class, sole-source production facility for felted fiber nitrocellulose combustible cartridge cases for medium and large caliber military ammunition; and pyrophoric payloads for training grenades.

Requirements

• Must know how to operate vacuum cleaner, washer, and dryer.
• Must be able to read and comprehend English including written work instructions and MSPI.
• Must have prior janitorial experience.
• Must be dependable, responsible, and accurate.
• Ability to deal with people effectively.

Responsibilities

• Mop floors, clean toilet bowls, urinals, sinks, tables and counter tops.
• Stock supplies for rest rooms and lunchrooms.
• Maintain offices including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and removal of trash and recyclables.
• Meet local Health Ordinances and maintain good employee morale.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules with other teams to not interfere with ongoing operations.
• Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.
