Responsibilities

• Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical.
• Report all accidents/incidents to the supervisor, regardless of severity.
• Coordinate daily grounds keeping/janitorial services with the housekeeping supervisor.
• Attend departmental and staff meetings as directed.
• Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.
• Participate and assist in department studies and projects as directed.
• Attend and participate in in-service educational classes and on-the-job training programs as scheduled.
• Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and using equipment and supplies.
• Ensure that assigned work areas are free of hazardous objects.
• Follow proper techniques when using chemicals, disinfectants, and solutions for cleaning.
