About The Position

In this role, you will help keep our buildings clean and orderly by performing heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls, cleaning glass, removing trash, vacuuming, stocking kitchens, and / or cleaning restrooms. You'll follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment and maintain/repair motorized cleaning equipment. Your duties will also include managing supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance and notifying management of the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. You must be comfortable working around aircraft and able to work independently and as part of a team. Your daily responsibilities will include a variety of tasks such as: Transforming Spaces : Keep our floors spotless, walls gleaming, glass sparkling, and restrooms immaculate. Creating Order : Manage and stock kitchens, ensuring they are well-equipped and inviting. Maintaining Cleanliness : Use your skills with chemical cleaners and power equipment to maintain a pristine environment. Operating Equipment : Repair and maintain motorized cleaning tools to keep everything running smoothly. Managing Supplies : Oversee and organize all cleaning and maintenance supplies. Ensuring Safety : Notify management promptly about any major repairs or system upgrades needed. You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, and are comfortable working around aircraft. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of previous janitorial experience
- A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Ability to complete scheduled, routine tasks quickly and efficiently without close supervision
- Must be capable of climbing stairs, ladders, and working on a stationary ladder
- Familiarity with the safe use of tools and cleaning products
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment.
- Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
