About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all employees and visitors. Requirements

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Sufficient written communication and reading skills
• Ability to operate or to quickly learn equipment
• Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to assess products for quality compliance
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position during the shift, using repetitive motion
• Must be able occasionally lift, push, pull and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds across the plant for various needs
• Spends time in cold environments
• Must have good hand/eye coordination

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines
• Adhere to company policies and regulations regarding cleanliness and hygiene standards
