About The Position

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Plant Janitor. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout our manufacturing facility, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all employees.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred, especially in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors, offices, corridors, and production areas.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas according to established protocols.
Empty trash and recycling bins regularly, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials.
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms and special event spaces as required.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or security concerns to appropriate personnel.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to cleanliness, hygiene, and waste management.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to maintain a positive working environment.
