About The Position

Under direct supervision, the Janitor performs routine cleaning and maintenance duties in an assigned area within a commercial building, office, or manufacturing setting. The primary goal is to ensure the health, safety, and environmental standards are met for everyone within the facility. This position specifically requires knowledge of carpet cleaning extractors to clean carpets throughout office spaces as needed for the entire shift.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, including chemicals, supplies and methods used in office cleaning.
• At least 3 years of specialized floor cleaning experience with Carpet extraction experience required.
• Must be able to work in multiple buildings

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of previous janitorial experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for floor care, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and spot-cleaning carpets of all office areas and non-production employee lounge.
• Responsible for carpet extraction cleaning
• Needs to be able to do commercial floor buffing, waxing and stripping.
• Dusting and disinfect equipment, furniture, and/or fixtures, etc...
• Responsible for removing trash in office areas and non-production employee lounge.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms daily
• Cleaning of windows in conference rooms and management offices, etc...
• Stoking of supplies throughout the office.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
