We are looking for a 2nd shift Janitor to join the team at our Norridge, IL location. Please note, this is a full-time, 2nd shift position (3:15pm - 11:45pm, Monday - Friday).

General Summary
Responsible for keeping common areas in and around the physical plant clean.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of janitorial experience
• Salary: $18.00-$19.50/hr. (+$1.00 differential)

Responsibilities

• Empty trash receptacles and recycling bins as needed in all buildings and take refuse to the main trash and recycling dumpsters
• Mop floor in washrooms, all offices, engineering area, foyers and entryways
• Dust office areas in all buildings
• Sweep floors
• Keep lunchroom, training rooms, and front office in a clean, orderly manner
• Vacuum mats
• Wash windows
• Clean all kitchen/coffee areas
• Clean time clock area
• Maintain stock in bathrooms and lunchroom
• Clean water fountains in all buildings
• Use floor scrubber to clean plant floor per designated schedule
• Clean plastic curtains in casting area
• Close parking lot gates at designated times
• Maintain and distribute machine wipes to employees in all buildings
• Maintain inventory and prepare Gatorade mix
• Clear snow and salt from building walkways, door and dock entrances, as well as building perimeters
