About The Position

Fortis Native Group LLC is interviewing for Part-time and Full-time Janitor positions for our new FAA contract in the San Diego and Santa Barbara area. You will be required to travel between 2-3 sites using your personal vehicle (you will be compensated for mileage). The Custodian’s job is physically demanding due to the need to move, carry and store various items and clean, dust, and wipe rooms full of furniture as well as floors and carpets. • Must have reliable transportation and a Driver License.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain bathrooms using specific procedures and products.
• Dust, polish, and wipe furniture.
• Empty and wash garbage bins and deal with recycling procedures when necessary.
• Help when setting facilities for meetings, events, or classrooms.
• Properly use and maintain power equipment and tools to maintain safety.
• Secure building and doors when they are not in use.
• Following instructions regarding chemical use and safety hazards in the workplace
