About The Position

NOVO Health Services provides linen management solutions, focusing on safety and infection control, to the healthcare industry. They offer value-driven linen management control systems and a wide range of service programs. Their regional facilities are HLAC accredited and use state-of-the-art processing equipment. This full-time Janitor position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility, including office, bathrooms, warehouse, control room, dosimetry room, and kitchen areas, as well as the outside appearance and dock areas. The role also involves assisting with inventory control of supplies and occasional painting.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Physical and mental ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of the English language or ability to learn tasks and demonstrate competency through visual direction
Knowledge of floor buffers and polishing equipment
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers as appropriate
Ability to read and understand applicable Standard Operating Procedures

Nice To Haves

1-2 years of previous janitorial experience

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean facility following Standard Operating Procedures
Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, emptying trash cans, cleaning entrance glass, cleaning refrigerator, scrubbing carpets and warehouse floors, etc.
Maintenance of the facility’s outside appearance, including the dock areas
Assist in inventory control of supplies
Occasional painting of the office and warehouse areas
Clean the following areas on a regular basis to maintain a presentable and sanitary facility: Office areas, Bathrooms, Warehouse areas, Control room and dosimetry room, Kitchen
