Starting Pay : $17.00 per hour plus additional shift differential for evenings, nights and weekends. Position Summary : This position maintains the office building, outside breakroom, shower facility, and Employee Center in a sanitary and orderly condition, including laundering towels and clothes as necessary. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months. If applicant has been laid off or providing child or elder care, the employment gap will be increased to 18 months. Previous work history will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months.
Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods.
Must be willing to sig n an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.).
Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines.
Must use safe lifting techniques .
Must regularly lift and/or move, up to 35 pounds to move items such as cases of synergize, bleach, etc ; tools, wheeled cart , may be to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds such as coffee and laundry supplies, etc .
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand majority of shift ( concrete floor); walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel objects and controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; climbing/ladder usage; stoop/bend up to 300 times per day; talk or hear.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus.
Must have good communication skills to accurately convey opinions and concerns.
TM is expected to follow all applicable safety policies and procedures. These include but are not limited to Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, LOTO and Personal Protective Equipment.
TM is expected to identify , address and mitigate safety related risks.
The employee is expected to adhere to all company policies.

Applicants with previous agricultural or production experience will be considered preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain Employee Center, including floors, walls, windows, and dusting/cleaning shelves and desks, in order to ensure it is kept in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition ( 3 5%)
Launder towels and clothing in a BioSecure fashion to maintain an adequate daily supply ( 55 %)
Other duties, responsibilities, and activities: These may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice, such as : order and maintain laundry and coffee supply inventory; maintain uniform inventory; maintain the boot wash in a clean and orderly fashion; report required repairs; maintain BioSecurity of facility be ensuring all visitors follow standard procedures (10%)
