About The Position

Cleans and keeps in an orderly condition factory working areas and washrooms, or premises of an office, apartment house, or commercial or other establishment. Duties involve a combination of the following: Sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and polishing floors; removing chips, trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; providing supplies and minor maintenance services; and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms

Responsibilities

• Must follow the MSDS guidelines when using various chemicals
• Empty trash receptacles
• Clean and sanitize all toilets, urinals, and sinks
• Sweep and damp mop floors using a disinfectant cleaner
• Refill all paper and soap dispensers as needed
• Clean and wipe all mirrors using glass cleaner
• Spot clean all walls to remove stains or prints
• Buff floors to remove scuff marks
• Strip and wax floors to remove scuff marks
• High dust above 70 inches including air ducts
• Vacuum traffic areas and office areas
• Dust and vacuum waiting chairs
• Top scrub and repeat if needed
• Mop for spills
• Clean, wipe sinks, and water coolers with disinfectant cleaner
• Clean and sanitize microwave ovens and refrigerators
• Clean and wipe vending machines
• Clean air ducts
• High and Low Cleaning
• Other duties as assigned
