About The Position

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of all buildings and surrounding grounds.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• 2 – 5 Years Working in a custodial position in a manufacturing environment
• Basic Email/Computer Skills

Responsibilities

• Empty all trash containers.
• Clean, dust, sweep, and mop all flooring on second and third floors of office building.
• Clean and stock supplies in ALL restrooms of facility, both in office and plant daily.
• Sweep and mop the front entrance and stairs daily.
• Change trash and sweep the Union breakroom daily.
• Clean the locker room daily.
• Sweep, dust, and mop purchasing office and machining manager office.
• Maintain outside walk area including sweeping debris and washing walkways.
• Maintain landscape: water, weed, cut grass and trim shrubs.
• Remove trash daily from outside lot and fence row.
• Clean windows.
• Dust all office furniture.
• Clean break room fridge and microwave weekly.
• Clean and polish fixtures.
• Assist maintenance with snow removal and applying salt to walkways.
• Track and order custodial supplies.
• Submit work orders to maintenance as needed.
• Change lightbulbs as needed.
• Clean and Stock PPE cabinet on Second Floor.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Complete every 6 months routine maintenance duties; washing office building walls, waxing locker room floor, waxing office flooring.
• Assist with setting up company events.
