About The Position
Great Opportunity for a Full Time Janitor! This is a set aside position for a person with a disability. This position requires the following: 1. Employee must obtain and maintain a government security clearance by passing a criminal background check and drug screening The position is located in Baltimore, MD The core working hours are 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday The hourly wage is $21.02 This is a full time position offering a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package and 100% employer paid health care coverage INTRODUCTION Under the supervision of the Custodial Foreman, performs those cleaning tasks necessary to meet custodial contract specifications.
Requirements

- Reliable Transportation
- Employee must obtain and maintain a government security clearance by passing a criminal background check and drug screening
- Must have three to six months training or experience, or be capable of learning to perform the essential functions.
- Must be able to pass security clearance for designated contracts.
Responsibilities
- Sweep and mop hallways, stairs and offices.
- Empty wastebaskets and dispose the trash in prescribed manner.
- Dust horizontal surfaces.
- Empty and wash ashtrays.
- Clean bathrooms.
- Wax and buff floors with prescribed buffers.
- Clean glass and windows.
- Wash walls and other vertical surfaces.
- Sweep and clear snow from outside steps and sidewalks.
- Polish kick panels, doorknobs and other designated fixtures.
- Strip and wax floors.
- Vacuum rugs.
- Mix cleaning solutions.
- Maintain issued equipment.
- Notify supervisor when supplies and equipment are needed to perform tasks.
- All other duties assigned by Custodial Foreman.
