About The Position

Grand Design RV is currently sourcing for a Janitor to join our team. This position is responsible for keeping buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, restrooms, conference rooms, break rooms, lobbies, and removing trash.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Ability to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Possess excellent organizational skills
• Ability to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift 6 to 25 pounds
• Ability to go up and down stairs

Responsibilities

• Mix water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions for cleaning and sanitizing.
• Clean building floors by vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
• Dust ceilings, vents, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, walls, and kitchen fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors.
• Drive vans, or other vehicles required to travel to, or to perform cleaning work.
• Dispose of trash or waste materials.
• Set up, arrange, or remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, or scaffolding to prepare facilities for events, such as banquets, or meetings.
• Confer with the supervisor to requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Report any breakage or damage that may occur during the cleaning process.
• Inform the supervisor of repairs that need to be done.
