Janitor
About The Position
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and comfort within the facility. This role includes laundry services and general cleaning duties to support a safe and pleasant environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Full time Hours- 10-30-7:00 PM flexible across weekdays and weekends PACS is revolutionizing the delivery and leadership of post-acute healthcare and support services across the country. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous janitorial or laundry experience preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks
Responsibilities
- Collect, wash, dry, fold, and deliver resident laundry and facility linens
- Ensure a sufficient supply of clean linens is available
- Inspect linens and remove damaged or stained items from service
- Label resident clothing as needed
- Follow proper sanitary and infection control procedures
- Safely operate laundry equipment and cleaning supplies
- Maintain inventory of cleaning and laundry supplies
- Report equipment issues to management
- Perform routine cleaning and janitorial duties as assigned
