About The Position

The Janitor is responsible for daily maintenance of the office and warehouse. The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and dining room and public areas. Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
6 months+ years janitorial experience

Responsibilities

Perform general cleanup of all areas of the building as directed
Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, yard and parking lot
Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up
Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped
Clean as outlined in the Master Sanitation Schedule
Willingness to work early morning or late night shifts
Ability to work well under minimal supervision
Capacity to take direction
Strong attention to detail
Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds
Relocate, move and adjust office furniture as necessary
Ensure that the highest degree of sanitation and housekeeping is maintained
Advise Manager and advise on pest control services as needed
Use on occasion, power equipment as required, handcarts, forklift, pallet jacks, etc.
