About The Position

Delta Star Inc. is seeking a dependable and hardworking Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility for all employees and visitors. If you take pride in creating orderly, sanitized environments and enjoy hands-on work that keeps operations running smoothly, we want to hear from you! As a Janitor, you’ll ensure our buildings remain clean, sanitized, and well-maintained each day. You’ll support facility upkeep by cleaning workspaces, restrooms, and common areas, restocking supplies, and performing routine and occasional deep‑cleaning tasks. Your work will directly support a safe and healthy workplace for everyone. Your day will include cleaning offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, break rooms, and shared spaces. You’ll sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize surfaces, empty trash, and maintain housekeeping equipment. Some days may include heavier tasks—such as moving furniture or handling special cleaning projects. You’ll also help restock supplies and maintain open communication with the facilities team to ensure all areas of the building remain in excellent condition.

Requirements

  • No minimum education or experience requirements.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
  • Must be able to reliably report onsite to the assigned plant location.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to work well with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to follow instructions and take direction from supervisors.
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 lbs.
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, and common areas.
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors across the facility.
  • Gather and empty trash; replace liners and clean receptacles as needed.
  • Clean and restock restrooms and shared areas with necessary supplies.
  • Polish and clean furniture, fixtures, mirrors, windows, and walls.
  • Perform heavy cleaning tasks and assist with occasional special projects.
  • Move, lift, or push furniture, equipment, or supplies as needed.
  • Perform general cleanup throughout the building as directed.
  • Maintain and clean housekeeping tools and equipment.
  • Complete non‑routine cleaning tasks based on work orders.
  • Sweep, vacuum, and mop plant facilities.
  • Work cooperatively with other staff to support facility needs.
  • Follow all workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
