About The Position

We are currently looking for a Janitor to be based out of Cartersville, GA.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Janitor’s primary focus will be to
exceed client expectations, ensuring that all floors and offices are clean and
trash is removed on schedule. Work area would include all offices, breakroom,
restrooms and working shopfloor.

Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning
• Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage and disposal methods
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team
• Excellent organizational skills a must
• Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision

Nice To Haves

• Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors
• Clean buildings by emptying trash cans, servicing restrooms and wiping down communal surfaces
• Tackle heavy cleaning jobs upon request
• Ensure outside walkways remain clear and free of debris
• Notify building management of any repairs required
• Mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions appropriately
