About The Position

Clean food production spaces according to established SOPs, including using hot water, hoses, cleaning chemicals, scrub pads, and brushes. Clean warehouse floor with designated and approved equipment to meet company standards, including hand brooms, electric powered scrubbers, and sweepers. Clean offices (including dusting), break room (including microwaves, refrigerators, and tables) restrooms, and floors (including sweeping and mopping) and replenish paper goods and supplies as needed. Empty trash containers and replace liners. Perform duties as communicated by Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) leadership and adhere to cleaning and maintenance schedules. Record and document sanitation activities in compliance with sanitation protocols. Remove and properly dispose of all trash, recycle, cardboard, compost, and broken pallets. Utilize cleaning checklists and adhere to Safety and Master Sanitation Schedule Operating Procedures. Follow established hazardous material safety procedures. Keep department cleaning supplies filled and maintained and keep all supply shelves clean and stocked. Help with any cleaning emergencies that occur in the facility. Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience cleaning in the grocery/food industry or food manufacturing facility preferred.
  • Ability to work well with others, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with little supervision.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the facility, including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
