The janitor plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the home to ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents, staff, and visitors. This position will offer support to the kitchen team with responsibilities of dishwashing and cleaning tasks. The janitor's duties are aligned with the mission of Little Sisters of the Poor, which focuses on caring for the elderly with love, respect, and dignity. Saint Jeanne Jugan, the foundress of the Little Sisters of the Poor, believed that "making the elderly happy is what counts." Requirements
- Previous janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to follow cleaning protocols and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Friendly, respectful demeanor with Residents, Sisters, and Staff
- Must pass background check and health screening
