About The Position

- The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment within the facility. This role is crucial in ensuring that all areas are kept in pristine condition, contributing to the overall health and safety of employees and visitors alike.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a janitorial or cleaning role preferred.
Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and bending.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Good communication skills for interaction with staff and management.
Understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors and surfaces.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure all fixtures are in working order.
Collect and dispose of waste and recycling materials in accordance with company policies.
Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and break rooms.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly.
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Assist with setting up and breaking down meeting rooms and event spaces as needed.
Respond promptly to any cleaning emergencies or special requests from management or staff.
