About The Position
Under the direction of the theatre management team, the Janitor is responsible for the cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of the theatre and building surroundings. This position reports to a member of the theatre management team or General Manager (reporting may vary by location). Essential Functions/Job Duties: Clean the facility during non-operating hours to prepare for the day Sweep, mop, or vacuum building floors Collect and take out garbage from building Clean restrooms and stock them with supplies Clean spills and other hazards with appropriate equipment Wash windows, walls, and glass Make minor building repairs Notify managers when a building needs major repairs All other light maintenance duties, as needed and assigned by the theatre management team or General Manager The above list reflects the general details necessary to describe the principle and essential functions of the position and shall not be construed as the only duties that may be assigned for the position.
Requirements
- Possess strong interpersonal, mechanical, and time management skills
- Flexible and accessible work schedule that includes late evenings, weekends and holidays as dictated by business needs
- The ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, team environment
